With "Limen," the Transitum series expands with a work that captures the atmosphere of stillness and the floating between states. The water lies still, shrouded in mist, reflections lose their form, boundaries blur. Everything seems to linger on a threshold, between the visible and the invisible, between permanence and change.

Photograph "Limen" by Oliver Wehrli: still water in the mist, with delicate reflections and dissolving shapes. A work from the Transitum series, shot in large format analog panorama.

"Limen" (Latin for " threshold" ) emphasizes precisely this transition: the moment in which the familiar slides into the unknown. An image that speaks not of sound and movement, but of pause and quiet transformation.

Like all works in the series, “Limen” was created in large analogue format using a conscious, slowed-down process that inscribes time itself into the image.
